Thank you to everyone who joined us for our two-night online event, “Standing with Conscience,” held on August 19 & 20.
On Day One, we brought together powerful voices from national organizations working to:
– Demilitarize schools and challenge youth recruitment
– Support conscientious objectors and active-duty service members
– Advocate for veterans and military families
– Provide legal, counseling, and organizing tools for resistance
On Day Two, we were honored to welcome Stephen Englehart, acclaimed Marvel Comics writer (Captain America, Doctor Strange) and a Vietnam-era Conscientious Objector. Stephen shared reflections on his journey, his work, and the importance of conscience in storytelling and in life.
